PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
According to European legislation, every individual must have full control over their personal data and therefore must be informed of the processing of such data (collection, use, storage), of the identity of the person carrying out the processing, of the purposes and of the legal basis, so as to be able to exercise their rights, recognized by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter the Regulation) and by the applicable laws on the protection of personal data (collectively the “Privacy Laws”).
EIW srls (hereinafter EIW or the owner), for the performance of its activity, processes some personal data. Below we provide the information required by the legislation, pursuant to Article 13 of the Regulation.
Who is the data controller?
The data controller is EIW srls with registered office in via Caduti di Marcinelle,12 - 20134 Milan (IT).
What are the purposes of the processing?
The data provided to us by the interested parties are processed for purposes strictly connected and necessary for the use of the Pitteikon website and the requested services (data provided voluntarily by the visitor, user or customer of the site) and for the processing of anonymous statistical information on the use of the site (navigation data). In particular, the data are used to respond to requests for information or commercial offers, opinions and studies and to promote EIW services.
For Customers, the legal basis is the execution of the contract.
For Users registered on the site or subscribed to the newsletter, the legal basis of the processing is the consent expressed at the time of registration/subscription.
The legal basis for the processing of statistical data in anonymous and aggregate form on the use of the site and services is that of the legitimate interest of the owner to analyze the degree of appreciation of the various activities in order to constantly improve its offer. The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This category of data includes: IP addresses, the type of browser used, the operating system, the domain name and the addresses of websites from which access or exit was made, information on the pages visited by users within the site, the time of access, the duration of the visit to a single page, the analysis of the internal path and other parameters relating to the operating system and the IT environment of the user. Such technical/IT data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical IT crimes against the site.
Who actually carries out the processing? Are the data communicated to external parties?
The processing is carried out by EIW internal staff specifically trained and authorised to process.
Any external parties appointed by EIW may process the data for site maintenance operations, to execute the contract stipulated with the Customer (e.g. payment and shipping management) and to provide the services necessary for the performance of EIW's activity, in compliance with high security standards and in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Laws
The data are not communicated to third parties outside of the hypotheses indicated above, except where required by specific regulatory provisions and always in compliance with the principles of necessity and proportionality.
How long are the data stored?
The data are stored for a limited period of time that depends on the type of interested party and the purposes for which the data were collected.
For Customers, the data are stored for the entire duration of the contractual relationship and the activities related to it in compliance with the administrative and tax obligations of the law, without prejudice to the right of the interested party to request at any time the cessation of the processing of their data under the conditions set out in the legislation.
The data collected for sending our newsletters will be stored until the cancellation request.
The data collected in relation to specific requests for information are retained for a maximum period of one year from the last contact with the interested party, unless the interested party has given consent to the processing of their data to receive further communications from EIW.
At the end of the retention period the data are deleted.
The data relating to the use of the site are anonymous and EIW only retains the results of the processing in aggregate form.
Is it mandatory or optional to transmit your personal data to EIW?
The provision of personal data is optional, but in the absence of this, EIW may be unable to execute the contract or provide the requested services.
What are the rights of the interested party?
At any time, the interested party has the right to ask EIW for access to his/her personal data, their rectification or erasure, as provided for in Articles 15, 16 and 17 of the Regulation.
The interested party also has the right to request the limitation of the processing that concerns him/her and to object to the processing in the cases provided for respectively in Articles 18 and 21 of the Regulation.
The consent may be revoked at any time, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before the revocation.
A further right recognized by the law to the interested party is to receive from the owner the personal data concerning him/her in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and to transfer such data to another data controller, under the conditions set out in Article 20 of the Regulation.
In the event that he/she believes that the processing concerning him/her has been carried out in violation of the law on the protection of personal data, the interested party has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which in Italy is the Guarantor for the protection of personal data.

CHANGES TO THE POLICY
This Policy regulates the methods of processing personal data provided by visitors while browsing the Site. The possible entry into force of new sector regulations and the constant examination and updating of services to the User could lead to the need to vary these methods. It is therefore possible that our policy may undergo changes over time and we therefore invite the visitor to periodically consult this page.
