PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

According to European legislation, each individual must have full control of their personal data and therefore must be informed of the processing of such data (collection, use, storage), of the identity of the person carrying out the processing, of the purposes and of the legal basis, so to be able to exercise their rights, recognized by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter the Regulation) and the applicable laws regarding the protection of personal data.

EIW srls (hereinafter EIW or the owner), in order to carry out its business, processes some personal data. Below we provide the information required by law, pursuant toarticle 13 of the Regulation.

 

Who is the data controller?

The data controller is EIW srls with registered office in Via Montenapoleone, 8 - 20121 Milan (IT).

 

What are the purposes of the processing?

The data provided to us by the interested parties are processed for strictly connected and necessary purposes: to use the website and the services requested (data provided voluntarily by the visitor, user or customer of the site); to the processing of anonymous statistical information on the use of the site (navigation data). In particular, the data are used to respond to requests for information or commercial offers, opinions and studies and to promote EIW's services.

For customers, the legal basis is that of the execution of the contract.

For users registered on the site or subscribed to newsletters, the legal basis of the processing is the consent expressed at the time of registration / registration.

The legal basis for the processing of statistical data in anonymous and aggregate form on the use of the site and services is that of the legitimate interest of the owner to analyze the degree of appreciation for the various activities in order to constantly improve its offer. Who actually carries out the treatment? Are the data communicated to external parties?

The treatment is carried out by EIW internal staff specifically trained and authorized to process.

Any external parties, appointed by EIW, may process the data for site maintenance operations, to execute the contract stipulated with the Customer and to provide the services necessary for the performance of EIW's business, in compliance with high safety standards and in compliance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

The data are not disclosed to third parties outside the aforementioned hypotheses, except where required by specific regulatory provisions and always in compliance with the principles of necessity and proportionality.

 

How long are the data kept?

The data are kept for a limited period of time which depends on the type of data subject and the purposes for which the data were collected.

For customers, the data are kept for the entire duration of the contractual relationship and the activities related to it in compliance with the administrative and tax obligations of the law, without prejudice to the right of the interested party to request the termination of the processing of their data at any time. under the conditions provided for by the legislation.

The data collected for sending our newsletters will be kept until the request for cancellation.

The data collected in relation to specific requests for information are kept for a maximum period of one year from the last contact with the interested party, unless the interested party has given consent to the processing of their data to receive further communications from EIW.

At the end of the retention period the data are deleted.

The data relating to the use of the site are anonymous and EIW only keeps the results of the processing in aggregate form.

 

Is transmitting my personal data to EIW mandatory or optional?

The provision of personal data is optional, but failing this, EIW may be unable to execute the contract or provide the requested services.

 

What are the rights of the interested party?

At any time, the interested party has the right to ask EIW for access to their personal data, their correction or cancellation, as required by articles 15, 16 and 17 of the Regulation.

The interested party also has the right to request the limitation of the processing that concerns him and to oppose the processing in the cases provided for respectively by thearticle 18 and fromarticle 21 of the Regulation.

The consent can be revoked at any time, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the treatment based on the consent given before the revocation.

A further right recognized by the law to the interested party is to receive from the owner the personal data concerning him in a structured format, commonly used, readable by an automatic device and to transfer such data to another data controller, under the conditions provided for by 'article 20 of the Regulation.

In the event that he believes that the processing that concerns him has been carried out in violation of the legislation on the protection of personal data, the interested party has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which in Italy is the Guarantor for the protection of personal data.
